Italian food is the worst food in the world, they literally don't even cook pasta properly, last time I went to an italian restaurant I ate a pasta dish and it had a grainy texture and I felt sick afterwards because they use 'al dente (undercooked) pasta.

Modern italian food is only a hundred or two hundred years old and is really just cheap slave food full of fillers. If you took an italian from 500 years ago and gave them a choice between a chicago deep dish pizza and a modern italian pizza which is just crust and tomato with a meagre amount of cheese, they would choose the chicago deep dish pizza 100/100 times.
