ever since the us started to push 15% tips for even take-out orders or buying from fucking subway where you go up to the counter and they won't wait on you, it's gotten out of hand. places with waiters/waitresses will spit in your food or dunk it in the toilet if you give them a tip under 20%. happened to me at a benihanas which i exclusively get takeout from and i was paying them a 15% tip. ill never forget the old bitch behind the counter the one time i paid in-restaraunt for the takeout and she snapped and was like NO YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TIP.
