This happened to me once but the waitress apologized and asked me if I wanted to leave my name and number and the restaurant would call me when the food (i wanted to order chicken kiev) would be available again. I spaghettid and said sure, she took down my info and I left the restaurant.

She wasn't flirting or anything, I'm a fat autist with long hair. This was in 2015 and they still haven't called.
