What are some old school hot sauces that are good but fly under the radar because they're not trendy?

That's the best of the classic American hot sauces imo. It definitely mogs Tabasco and Texas Pete into oblivion.

Some MREs have packets of this hot sauce in them. Always appreciated getting it when I was in the field, it was pretty rare though. Most of them would have chili pepper flakes or little Tabasco bottles. Started getting the sauce myself.

You know what I mean. It's not like chipotle sauces when that shit was all the rage, or sriracha which succeeded it. It's just some old brand that's been around for a million years and it's not fashionable but it's good

I'm Cajun from NOLA. This is the go to everyday sauce for us around here. I like Texas Pete better, but Crystal has a good taste, just no heat.

Crystal, Louisiana and Red Rooster are classic American hot sauces. They are the default, and thus the best general hot sauce.

Marie Sharp's habanero sauces are my absolute favorite. Crystal makes a good green sauce too.

I think Tabasco is better. Honestly, though, I only use it on my food when I accidentally cooked it wrong and need to cover up the taste of stank.
I actually prefer to use soy sauce as a condiment.
