So they opened a Raising Canes right next to a chick fil a here in south Florida. The line of cars at night was 70 deep and they had to bring the cops in to direct traffic. For some chicken fingers.

The custard is mediocre, but the food is pretty good. They also have their own rootbeer which is solid. Between quality, service, price, and convenience it's pretty great.

Compared to other chains, the step up in quality is well worth the extra buck or two it may cost.. Personally I think it shits on Shake Shack which has to be the most overrated/expensive burger place around.

Raising canes has to be the most overrated establishment I have ever come across. A big meme. Their chicken tender have no flavor whatsoever. Fries taste like they barely had a minute in the fryer alongside no salt. And the only reason why people are crazy for it is because of that sauce. Litterly just mayo, worchire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, and salt and paper. You can make a whole bottle of that that shit with just the ingredients In your pantry/refrigerator. Get yourself some frozen tenders and fries from the store, and you can have yourself some canes whenever you want with more bang with your buck.

you don't understand the life of the average normie. They wake up, go to a job they hate, come home, deal with family members they are ambivalent about, and spend a few hours a night scrolling social media or watching a show on tv/netflix. Routines are more entrenched now than ever before. Most adults have had the same routine for years and years on end. For these people, when a new fast food restaurant opens, it might as well be a whole new world. A new restaurant, with burger combinations they never even conceived of before. They have to try all of them. And so they go day after day and week after week when a new fast food restaurant opens. Finally, a bit of novelty in their otherwise mundane lives. They must soak it all up. It is in those moments that they are reminded that civilization still marches on

I tired going around noon on Tuesday when they opened, the line was backed up a quarter mile each way on boynton beach blvd. trip was unsuccessful however I did get to see people in the line fight which was ok.
I attempted to get canes again the next day at 7 p.m. I approached from the less populated and busy westerly direction and managed to get into the BJs parking lot. I abandoned the attempt when I realized the line was not moving at all save for the other chicken desirers giving up and leaving the line.
I waited another two days before my next attempt. At approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday I arrived into the plaza containing the fresh and thriving canes, the shell shocked chic-fil-a, and the many confused and aggravated BJ’s customers just trying to escape back to their double wide trailer homes. Thanks to the expert guidance of the Boynton Beach police department’s finest snacks, the line moved coherently and I was finally able to get my chickens in about a half hour of waiting.

Canes is the worst fucking fast food restaurant in america. I would choose literally anywhere else over it every time. Their chicken is heavily over salted to make up for the fact that they use zero spices or flavoring agents of any kind. The sauce is nothing special and that's it. And the kicker is even with that simple as fuck menu they can't consistently get all of their food fresh and tasting great.
It's the biggest ripoff for your wallet and your taste buds, don't fall for the hype.
