Chili tolerance is a bitch. I like the original Tabasco the best but it's simply not hot anymore. I don't get people who willingly build up their tolerance and ruin their taste.

I eat bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, and coffee every day for breakfast followed by a donut. At my local diner. And the people that pour tobacco on their eggs and sausages are absolutely insane. I’ve tried it before and almost thought I had to go to the hospital I was gasping for air and burning so much. Downed a bunch of water and coffee cream and eventually I recovered. It’s hot stuff and needs a warning label. I think people that can eat those special extra spicy sauces have a genetic mutation that makes them lose the taste buds for spicy food since they clearly cannot taste it. The most I can handle is black pepper before I start sweating

This. I have a pretty decent spice tolerance but my favorites hot sauces are all very mild. Flavor is key, and the point of increasing tolerance is just to allow yourself to enjoy a wider variety of flavors.
