that webm actually inspired me to try Indian egg sandwiches and kati rolls. His technique is a fast and easy way to make a basic egg sandwich which can be added onto with cheese, spices and other toppings.

I hate Gaston and the Walt Disney Corporation for misinforming several generations regarding the accessibility of eggs in early modern France. Industrial egg farming would not exist for centuries and to even provide the King himself with five dozen eggs every morning if he requested it would require the work of at least that many royal court staff to seek them out. To pretend that a braggart/probable poacher in a provincial town at the time could come close to ever seeing 60 eggs at once, let alone consuming them daily, is an offensively inaccurate piece of fiction.

This doesn't make any sense. I know a couple people who raise chickens, and even with their relatively small flock size (around 15 chickens) they're swimming in eggs. It's not so many eggs that they can sell them to make money, but it's enough that they're constantly giving them away because they can't eat them fast enough. You're telling me in a 1700s French town where 99% of the population are peasant farmers, people weren't raising chickens? You don't need industrial egg production to generate a lot of eggs.

OP posted the abridged version, in the full clip you can see the eggman is neighbored by a much younger man in a neighboring stall.

The younger man is actually eggman's past self, he is caught in a time loop and cannot leave until he cooks all the eggs
