So never had it before until the night before I had to move out of my second floor apartment. Me and buddy stayed up late while everyone else went to bed, and we kept drinking. My friend passed out on the couch, but I went out on the balcony for a smoke and when the cold air hit me I got woozy, real bad. Reality swirling around me, I fall forward and headbutt the rail of the balcony, immediately puking all over myself and the floor. Upon regaining ambulatory function, I strip my shirt off and walk back into the apartment. The warmth hits me like a sledge hammer and I drop to my hands and knees and crawl into the narrow hallway leading to my room and loose consciousness. Not in a cool, happy sleepy way, but in a fashion that feels dark and sad. Sad sleep.

5 hours of pseudo-death later and it is time to half drunk and half hungover move a house. Sounds easy if you are a bitch, but being over 6 foot, you have to move shit like couches and a fridge. No getting out of it on twink/bitch points. The best part was the smell at 7am, as the balcony was on the east facing side of the building. The puke cooked in the desert heat and dripped down onto the neighbors patio. I rinsed it off with bowls full of water, but the edges of the puddle had cooked into a solidified outline like a ring of cocaine in the shape of Ukraine. The smell was the best present of all in that moment of self-hatred.

The story of Black Booster is kinda interesting as well. It was made before Kadco became an officially licensed brewery but being located in Sierra Leone they had still managed to operate for a number of years.
They did get around to getting a proper manufacturing license, funnily enough around the time Black Booster made the rounds on the internet. I can't even imagine what the taste of unlicensed West African whiskey sold in plastic jugs is like.
