I tried cleaning it with a wire brush and drying any moisture but it still won't work. What do?

can you hear the igniter clicking? can you smell gas coming out?

So gas is coming out but you can't ignite it? Are you relying on the sparker or have you tried using a lighter or a burning stick?

Sorry I should've specified more, I'm retard.

No gas coming out, no igniter clicking. Just dead silence.

Kind of weird for both to stop working at the same time. I can't think of a problem that would affect both aspects.

Wait, is it a setup where you push the knob in to both start the gas and spark the igniter? If so then the knob has probably come loose from its connections.

Yea, I push it in to ignite and turn it to start the gas.

Ah thanks. Can I fix that or is it too dangerous?

You might be able to. You'd have to take the panel off and look. Just don't poke at wires or unscrew pipe fittings.

check your power box. it might have tripped the oven/stove switch.
Some ovens now need electricity for gas to flow because Global Warming is a real problem which is why everything needs to use electricity and be "smart", i.e. spy on you.
