Minmaxing might make sense if you go there annually. If this is the one time you're going to a theme park, you want to take the opportunity to experience for yourself how bad and overpriced the food is.

Monsieur Paul in the French pavilion at Epcot for your "nice" dinner.

My info may be a little outdated, but here it is.
There are some dinner and show events: Polynesian hotel does a Luau, and there's also the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Winerness. You may be too late to get a reservation for those. You can also go to the Marrakesh in Epcot Morocco, where a belly dancer performs while you eat. Also good in Epcot is this restaurant that's basically surrounded by aquarium tanks. In Japan you can get a Hibachi dinner.
Character Breakfasts are good if you have a family to take one to. The Grand Floridian has a nice brunch for that. I think the Contemporary too.
The Africa themed buffet in the Wilderness Lodge is the better of that hotel's two restaurants. Get some prime rib. Good deserts too.

Canada is overrated and has gone downhill. The better steakhouse is the one at the Yacht Club hotel.

Their basic pizzas and tendies are top tier. For me, it's the pizza/ caesar salad combo at Pizza Rizzo and the tendies at Cosmic Ray's Cafe.

Also Scifi Cafe is kino af.

My first experience with mole sauce was at the Mexican/Aztec/whatever part of Epcot a couple decades back. It was good, unlike the smoked turkey legs.

DisneyLAND had a restaurant built into the Pirates ride that served an okay Monte Cristo. No idea whether World has something similar.

Unless you’re in Epcot during their Food and Wine festival their food mostly just fills your hole while draining your wallet and not much else. There was an okay burger place in the Magic Kingdom that wasn’t COMPLETE anal rape, called Pecos Bill. It’s been YEARS since I’ve been, though. Well before the pandemic. There’s no telling what manner of fresh hell they’re serving and charging for it now.

EPCOT is the foodie destination.

You can get a drink from each country or you can stop by the food trucks and get great appetizers. They're a little pricy and small but there's a ton of them. If you're looking to throw down cash on an expensive restaurant, try Monsieur Paul's in the heart of EPCOT.

>Pizza that's 2/3rds crust, with a small pool of grease in the center, and an overall appearance akin to little caesar's
>Accompanied by a tiny plastic cup of croutons and lettuce

Yeah, I think I'll pass.

Still tastes great though. Why do you care what it looks like? I enjoy food by taste. You must be a zoomer..

I enjoyed the Chef Mickey's Cafe (??) with my family. It was during Covid though so they had restrictions, but it ended up making it a better experience: they bring carts of food to your table and the performers keep a good distance away. No children sneezing all over the buffet, no unwanted closeness with the mascots, you can just enjoy the show from a good distance while you eat, and the food wasn't half bad.
