>Softer, pillowy buns that are freshly toasted to a golden brown.
>Perfectly melted cheese that will make you want to savor every last bit off the wrapper.
>Juicier, caramelized flavor from adding white onions to the patties while they’re still on the grill.
>Even more of everyone’s favorite Big Mac sauce, bringing more tangy sweetness in every Big Mac bite.
whoa

Not toasted, not cheese, don't need more sauce to compensated for the lack of juice and the extra bread.

McDonald's sucks in general, but what people don't understand is that people don't go there for a burger, nugs, or fries because they're good or cheap or whatever, they go there because they specifically want McDonald's. Otherwise, there's tons of other better options out there, but people just seem to like that taste specifically.

I don't understand the extra bun either. I know it's cheap filler but how do they pass it as appealing? You could cut costs even more by omitting it.

they implemented these changes in Norway more then a year ago, there's a little bit diff in taste, but not for the better really. the bun tastes less fresh and a bit tougher, like it was made to have a longer shelf life. the onion concept doesn't work as good as it sounds like, the size of pieces of onion are so minuscule i'm guessing they get instantly burnt. it was kind of sad to think about that the thing you were used to since childhood is changed forever. I don't enjoy bigmac as much anymore. they also did the same changes with the classic cheeseburger

>> No.19174629

>>19174551
I wouldnt mind a deterrent to help enjoy it less. but knowing me, id just get used to it

They should have made the change without telling people, like they always did. The current version of the Big Mac is already vastly different from the one I was eating as a child. The bread and meat are clearly lower quality. When I eat a Big Mac these days the bread is falling apart into pieces 100% of the time, it was never happening in the 90s.
I guess that since this particular change is not only about cost cutting they decided they would turn it into a marketing stunt. But fundamentally it's just another recipe change like they do regularly.

Does it still feature insultingly small beef patties?

Despite being called ""big""...

The beef ain't big in the Big Mac, homeboy. I assure you that

you trying to say the double cheese/quarter is bigger in flavor? because they're not. people would even request the sauce for those

>> No.19174686

>>19174675
Well the quarter is bigger in actual beef flavor because there's more beef.

But don't get me wrong I love the Mac sauce

I think its also for texture. it divides the two halves. its kind of like folding over your cold cuts vs just a slab of coldcuts stacked up.

Big mac is 3 bun and 2 patty. That bun ti patty ratio is smaller than a normal cheeseburger with 2 bun and 1 patty.
