No way this is homemade right? I've waster hundreds of dollars trying to make decent fried chicken and it comes out inedible every time. I can cook steaks, wings, chicken breasts, pasta, sauces, etc., like a boss but for the life of me I can't do fried chicken. I even got a deep fryer in the past and nope... can't fucking eat it

This is absolutely my chicken lol what I do is get the drums to room temp, then use a sharp knife and run it between the flesh and bone a couple times to help it cook all the blood out. Then I dredge in seasoned flour, that time I had done chipotle and smoked paprika, then coat in well beaten egg, then panko breading after. I usually only fry 1 or 2 pieces at a time at 375 in my deep fryer until golden brown and let them cool on layers of paper towels after

Gtfo! I just fucked up pumpkin bread the other night. Tried making bread, didn't let it sit long enough, yeast and hot water hack for some bs reason NEVER works, now Ive got pumpkin cake that with a slash of icing is still pretty damn good.

Yeah most dishes I tend to eyeball unless it's a first attempt. My first shot at osso buco was very watery, but the 7 people I cooked it for all fought for seconds so it was still very good I had also personally never eaten it myself and went in blind
