Mine was meant to be pad thai and became peanut butter spaghetti chili. Looked like human shit with tapeworms, and my roommates and gf said it reeked, but it tasted okay.

Didn't know much about cooking when I wanted to help with Thanksgiving as a teenager. My mom always made powdered gravy and I wanted to try making real stuff with the drippings. I made a roux and thinned it out with some chicken stock and we both thought it was tasty. I thought I could make more of it by just pouring in even more drippings, and my mom didn't stop me. Obviously, rather than make more roux, it just made it a disgusting sloppy mess with pools of grease floating to the top. My mom didn't make the powdered stuff so everyone had a little bit of my ruined gravy.

One time I ordered a pizza, but there was just crap in the box. A literal fucking smelly watery turd. Needless to say I chose not to eat it.

This is the worst food picture I've ever seen. Catholic priests uses this photo to drive out demons in the posessed. I've seen /pol/ gore videos that have disgusted me less.

I did this exact mistake. Also the chicken was half spoiled so I ate rotten chicken and beans with cinders.

Tried to make salisbury steak all by myself as a kid but fucked up the ratios somehow and the resulting sloppa was so offensive I took 2 bites and threw it away, then got the shits later

This recipe is really good but use a cast iron pan instead of a baking dish. It's sweet though if you aren't into that, I know some cornbread recipes aren't sweet at all

why is east asian food so universally so terrible????

Its as if they never learned how to make anything beyond "whatever you can find, just eat it so you won't starve to death" point in their culture.

I got a whole frozen wild duck, and it was dry and bland af and its skin burnt in the oven, though I glazed it with olive oil. Think I broke my clay pot out of frustration.

>> No.19165800

>>19165788
Oh, and it was stringy too.
I've actually eaten wild duck in a restaurant before, plenty of times, so I know how it's supposed to be like. It should be tasty and gamey.
