I'm going to universal studios orlando on the evening of the 23rd. Is anything there good to eat or should I just sneak food?

>> No.19148314

I say sneak food in. Last time I went, there wasn't really anything unique to justify the insane prices they charge. Hope you have fun, OP. Who are you going with?

Thanks for the advice anon. I'm going with some classmates from my medical school. The undergrad of the school was offering free tickets and I was fortunate enough to snag one.
How was your overall experience? Any noteworthy things you recommend I check out?

What...how?

Also have you ever been there before?

Go to the simpsons area and get a food item of your choice. Know it's subpar food for too much money but the novelty of ordering the closest thing to a real krusty burger is kind of worth it for the novelty. Go get a glass of Duff from moe's because it's a brew made specially for the park you can't get anywhere else and it's actually half decent. If you don't care about the simps just eat before you leave the house.

It was great, I went back in 2021 with my family. My recommendation is the VelociCoaster. It's a rush and you need to ride it if you're a fan of thrills. Do you have any idea what food you wanna try and sneak in?

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is expensive, but the milkshakes and chocolate alcoholic drinks are worth the price, I think.
You're only gonna be there a little while; you're not going to be throwing down cash every day. Might as well get the Chocolate Cherry Mule.

Thanks for the recs. Sounds like the play is to avoid the food and enjoy the drinks. I want to try a lot of different stuff, but so I can still drive and wake up the next day probably gonna have to share with friends.

Its literally just free, you line up and get it with a valid school ID but there are only limited amounts. Courtesy of the undergrad's tuition. Never been there before but excited.

Soup or sandwiches based on the weather. I'm opening to trying whatever if its good, even if its overpriced.

Get a lard lad donut, assuming they have a simpsons land. California does. Florida should. Also a Duff beer. For the lulz.

There is an area before you reach the park called CityWalk that you walk through to get to the park, most of your food options are going to be there. If money is an issue, the best deal for the amount of food you get is the Panda Express.

In the park, my favorite dish is the Shepard's pie from Finnegan's. I'm sure the Harry Potter food is nice but i've never tried it due to the long lines.
