- spread imitation butter product onto top and bottom of combined slices

Lightly spread 100% avocado oil mayo on bread, both sides, use a nice smoked cheese, Gruyère is good, either toast on skillet or bake convection. If skillet you’ll need to cover so cheese will melt, if oven broil at end to crisp cheese a tad.

The key is to get the bread hot enough that the heat of the bread toasts the cheese. This is very tricky to do without burning the bread. You will need a clothing steamer AND an oxyacetylene torch.
