When I'm feeling down, I open uber eats and order McDonald's.
Then I look in the mirror the next day, and see that I have 1 or 2 new white hairs.
I can't eat McDonald's anymore, something in it is just so unhealthy for me.

This is what I made for lunch. Perfectly medium rare burgers topped with melty smoked missed threads, a mix of sauteed vidalia onions, bell peppers, garlic, and mushrooms, with a dollop of honey mustard sauce, all on ghee toasted brioche buns, and as a side the sauteed mix is good enough to eat on its own.

Years ago when I was depressed I would stare at my pvc anime figures for hours and then eat one of them hoping it would fulfill me somehow. A day later after feeling a little sick I use to like the feeling of pushing it out. Normally by then I was better until the next time.

Quick meals like eggs and bread, deenz and rice or cottage cheese and green peas. I usually just smoke a lot of weed and unwittingly do intermittent fasting since weed suppresses my appetite. On the rare occasion I have munchies for sweet stuff I just get a juicy fruit or down a shit ton of yogurt with honey.

I don't think anyone except a few schizos is really aware of how quickly things are going to change with strong AI. We're in for some upheavals the likes of which no one alive today has lived through, it's going to be like the industrial revolution all over again, but it will happen on a compressed timeline, like 10-20 years not 100.

Everything everyone takes for granted is about to change.

When people are feeling depressed, they may crave certain foods that provide comfort or pleasure, such as foods that are high in sugar, fat, or carbohydrates. However, these types of foods are often not the best choices for long-term physical and mental health. In fact, research suggests that a diet high in processed foods and refined sugars may actually contribute to the development of depression.

Instead, it's important to focus on a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Eating a balanced diet can help support mental health and overall wellbeing. Additionally, staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water and reducing alcohol and caffeine intake may also help improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression.

If you are struggling with depression or disordered eating, it's important to seek professional help from a qualified healthcare provider who can provide personalized guidance and support.

I try not to eat or drink anything different than usual when I am feeling down. If you eat your favorite foods or comfort foods when you're sad, you risk mentally associating your sad feelings with these good foods, which can ruin the good foods for you. So just eat normal stuff, and focus on just being productive and self-improvement to lift yourself out of depression, rather than relying on things like food or buying stuff to cheer up.
