This was available around the time my dad was undergoing treatment for cancer. He was receiving treatment 3 times a week, in the next town over. Mum would take him on the 1st and the 3rd days each week and I'd take him up on the 2nd, so that mum didn't have to take too much time off work.
After he'd had his treatment we'd go to Hungry Jacks and I'd get a Bourbon Whooper and Onion Rings, while he'd get something smaller because he wasn't super hungry after treatment.
We'd sit there and talk while we ate, about everything and nothing.

I miss those days. I miss my dad.

Hands-down the McDonald's Superhero Burger for the 90's Batman films was the greatest thing I've ever had at McDonalds. It was a triple Big Mac on a sub roll with tomatoes. Got it in the summer in the 90's driving through Georgia and I swear they must have put fresh local produce on it.

They released a similar triple burger in Canada called the Hockey Hero but I dunno if it was exactly the same.

Nothing will ever come close to the Long John Silvers wraps from the late 90's. They basically combined a Po Boy sandwich with a burrito and then added rice and bits of that crunchy batter gravel that you get at LJS. They didn't last long because I guess they weren't profitable for franchisees but these things were godlike. It's one of the few fast food recipes I've worked to imitate.

I remember when I was 16 yo, it was a limited piece in my country, it costed only 2€ and tasted like a frozen pizza but it was medium, 2 could make you full. It was really grabbed by many people because people prefered the equivalent of a little pizza for 2€ instead of a 1€ burger.

I remember even these things, but they say was a french exclusive, I remember for like a month or 2 was even in Italy because I remember the "little wrap with a big nugget" was here for a time.
