I decided to splurge and get a deluxe Mac and cheese for my birthday instead of a boxed one. It's pretty good. Reminds me of Velveeta when I was young. Never had a deluxe mac and cheese before.

Just make your own. Superior cheese and cream, your choice of meat. Throw in some broccoli and it's better then 2 girls at the same time (who's got that kind of energy?).

I think I understand its intended purpose, but even if I used real cheeses I like adding canola oil to Mac and cheese because it helps smooth and bring out the flavor somehow. Also when it dries up some it disconnects from the pan easier in gooey yummy clumps.
