You had it coming if it was a place called "mr slop burger". That's pretty much a huge white flag in bold black letters saying "our food is not fit for human consumption!!!"
My worst order was probably a beef chimichanga at some Mexican restaurant. I wanted to know what people were so excited about for this thing. It was absolute shit. I work in one of those Mexican restaurants now and i tried our own. It's just as bad as my first time. Absolute pig slop, I don't see why people put that in their bodies.

I know how...But they are really just a gimmick for taking rich people's money.
I'd rather pipe smoke onto a good cut of meat, or just present a dish well--without all the frippery.
An excellent chef will let the simplicity of the food do the "Talking"

Do they bat an eye at Penn Station. My and my gf and a friend of mine all worked at Penn Station and I think they are pretty good. But I'm no chef, I'm just a cook.

I ordered one of their drinks and a breakfast sandwich from there once.
The eggs on the sandwich had the consistency of snot, and the "drink" was just pure cream and sugar.
I at least liked the blue berry donut I ordered there. But they're always out, so what's the fucking point.
Seriously hope the location near me burns down just so they can put something decent in its place. But god knows they don't actually COOK anything there, so my hopes are low.

I had a cheeseburger at a Captain D's seafood when I was a kid that was almost traumatic how bad it was.

There are a lot of weird bespoke "restaurants" in places where they have a captive audience, like college campuses and airports that is just basic cafeteria food using Sysco industrial food service ingredients.

Current KFC is just about the worst supposed-to-be-good food that I've had in awhile. It's just absolutely terrible.
