Can we have an egg thread? How do you make eggs? Personally I just like to fry them

>> No.19028778

Gently fried (in bacon grease) on low heat, one flip, so the white is 100% cooked but yolk is liquid.

Eggs are the poverty food by excellence where I come from, so I've eaten them all my life.
For me is:
>Boiled
For soups, pasta and salads. 10+ minutes because I don't like runny yolk that much.
>Pan fried
>I drop two or three on an oiled pan as if making sunny side up, then I break the yolk and scramble them to have both textures. I may also mix in leftover rice, chopped onios, tomatoes, red pepper or cheap sausages.
>Deep fried.
It's a quick fix if I have little to no protein to eat in a dish. Goes well with plain rice and steamed vegetables.

I barely know anything to make with eggs. I guess I could make omelettes but I never bother. I buy eggs for baking and never use them for that. My problem is that I don't like egg whites by themselves, except in meringue, and the yolks taste too strongly of sulfur so I don't usually like hard boiled.
Maybe devilled eggs could be good. Any other ideas?
