You know those weird brands of chips that are always either at the very end of the chip aisle or in some completely different section? Ever find any good ones?

These were unremarkable except that they had way more saturated fat than most other brands I’ve seen.

you need to either start them in cold oil or cook them in oil at about 140 C. cold oil method works better at home. you want all the water to evaporate from the potato, and there’s no way to do that without burning the chip if you’re cooking them at 180 like that other retard said. brining them in holt salty water helps too, gets rid of the starch

My grandad liked tri-sum potato chips so much he’d put a big bag in his suitcase when we went on vacation. He couldn’t do without. And he’d include the bag in all the family vacation photos

I grew up in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This guy used to go door to door selling tri-sum potato chips out of this old horse and buggy he had. My family always assumed he was in some way associated with the tri-sum potato chip company. But it turns out, no, he was just some guy, who'd buy them at the grocery store and then sell them for double the amount he paid for them.

Seems like he went to a lot of effort getting a horse and buggy and all. It costs money to keep a horse. It doesn’t seem profitable

My milfy step-mom has got me addicted to Goy’s Ridges. So that’s my brand of potato chips for life now
