I had some raw chicken sitting in my fridge for about a week, maybe a bit longer. Today I decided to finally use it to make fried chicken. The chicken smelled a little weird when I pulled it out of the bag (a bit like piss) but I decided to just eat it rather than being a pussy and throwing it all out. I battered it, fried it, and started eating. It wasn't until I was about halfway through that I could tell something was wrong. I pulled back the fried crust and realized the inside was still totally raw. Not even Jack Scalfani would eat this shit.
About 6oz of this raw, likely expired chicken is currently making its way through my system. Before I die, I just want to let you all know that this board is my favorite place on the internet and I'll miss you all.

It's too late for OP, but for anyone else reading this - a helpful tip in the case of ingesting something poisonous is to either take some activated charcoal or a few shots of alcohol immediately after consumption. The alcohol will kill off any kind of still living bacteria if its raw meat, and the charcoal will help absorb some of the poison if mold had its way with it.

Idk about taking both at once tho
