Do you cook for your friends?
Im no chef but it's nice making meals or dinners and seeing everyone enjoy it.
Moreso when they ask for you to cook for everyone.

I have no friends.

I like to have friends over in the summer and I'll make brisket or pulled pork in my smoker, and have them bring some sides/appetizers

Honestly get it together. You have no excuse.

>Honestly get it together
Too vague
>You have no excuse
Too condescending
Both sentences in your post neither encourage or reinforce. It's just adding complexity while being punishing. It's going to have the opposite effect.

There was a day in my life when I realized I don't need friends. So I ghosted everyone i know. Didn't regret it so far

No wonder you don't have friends. You come off as a wannabe intellectual and use it as a defense mechanism when dealing with confrontation. Oh well at least you have your parasocial relationships.

Love cooking for my friends. It's always nice to have company and just make a day out of it. It's also a chance to try new recipes and gain valuable feedback.

Tbh the friend group dynamic probably changed for the better the moment you cut contact.

I should've mentioned im not the guy you responded to, but that's not how you help someone. Also, I do have friends, and based on your bitterness probably more than you do.

Oh wahh cry about it more. Like anyone is actually coming to the cooking board of all places to get advice on making friends. If you have oh so many friends why are you on 4chan waiting around for (You)s

Well glad you got yourself out of a shitty friend group, but don't let a few bad friends ruin the idea of making new ones.

I enjoy it that way. I did lots of stuff back then. Time to take it easy now.

And this.
I do cook for my mom and grandma who live a couple of blocks away, though. If it weren't for that I wouldn't cook a thing and eat junk food or takeaway form downtown.

Nobody and no forum post can "have an effect" on you. You read the post and then your mind has an effect on itself. You can control this, it is your choice to better yourself or not
