It is supposed to ease transition from meat eater to vegetarian, but people cannot be bothered to not eat real meat and the actual vegetarian crowd cannot be bothered because of reasons above

it's expensive and not even that good, so most people gave up on things like BEYOND and IMPOSSIBLE. There are some pretty good plant substitutions for meat that you can probably enjoy if you're not going in expecting it to taste like a burger, but those require actual effort, not some prepackaged rubbery hard bullshit like this.

I've tried numerous plant-based meats out of curiosity, and while some do taste nice they are all too expensive. Also, going to the vegan section in a supermarket is kind of embarrassing and makes me feel like sóy boy.
