I went to burger king today and got a whopper. It was terrible. 80% of the sandwich was the bun and the patty was thin and cold. How on earth is this place in business, it sucks dick.

They were run by millennials (including the CEO) for like a decade who basically ran the entire company and brand and food into the ground. Also, snarky gay "progressive" ad execs that treat the consumers like shit (but that's basically every company's problem these days). They got validated by the creepy "King" meme being a big hit and thought the idea of Burger King was more important than actually selling burgers that people would pay money to eat.

Last I checked they had another new CEO who was trying to turn things around by a guess Covid and inflation is fucking them hard. I go there maybe once a year and the past couple times was pretty terrible. McDonald's just destroyed them with the switch to fresh patty on the Quarter Pounder and the Quarter Pounder Deluxe is essentially the Whopper done right.

BK has the worst quality control of any national chain other than maybe KFC. A properly made Whopper is legitimately the best fast food burger you can get, but the variation in consistency and standards between locations, shifts, etc. is unreal. Shame their sides are awful as well.

Their fries were fine in the 90's but they changed them like twice since I think for no particular reason other than some faggot decided they NEEDED "cravable" fries because both McDonald's and Wendy's had meme fries and BK didn't. Those sugar-dusted "crispy" fries are just vile. Just go back to the generic fast food fries they had. They complimented the Whopper nicely. Still not as bad as what Wendy's did to their fries but still pointless.

oh that's what you meant, to get the deal I'm talking about you need to use the human-less order kiosk, select deals, and then one of the options there. Sometimes there's even a BOGO offer for the Big Mac, Chicken sandwich, or QPer. The deals aren't advertised openly I noticed but it'll be there in the kiosk.

Damn, I just remembered a good memory of my old dog who passed away last year, one of his favorite things was chicken and I used to grab a 10/$1 box of nuggets for him as I got myself a buy one get one whopper deal on my way home from work, I did that like every other day, we would eat BK on the couch together, sometimes I throw him some of the beef, save the 2nd whopper in the fridge for later, but the nuggets were his, he would eat those nuggets so fast, he loved them. I miss that little guy man, he was my best friend for 12 years

a lot of that stuff is regional. The BKs in southern california were only okay, but then when i moved up north to washington, suddenly they were pretty good. Unfortunately the Arbys went from pretty great in LA to only kind of okay in washington, and I'm to understand that in the eastern US Arby's is a special kind of fucking diarrhea slop.
