There was a running joke in my family about waffle house since there were none in my area. I think it was a line from the movie Tin Cup where someone says "I've been dreaming about waffle house for 500 miles."
My parents went on vacation and stopped at a waffle house. They brought back a coffee mug for me, claiming they didn't sell them but asked if they could have it and the waitress said it was fine.
Now I have a robust, from-the-wild Florida waffle house mug. Wonder how much combat its seen...

This waffle house is in a 99.9% white community. A pretty white girl served me and the cook was a white man. I got my order accurately within around 2-3 minutes with fresh hot coffee. The waitress thought I was cute because she gave me a free waffle. Paid around $13 total for eggs, coca-cola, coffee, cinnamon raisin toast, waffle, grits, and waitress was very cute and nice.
NO NIGGERS.
I would go to this Waffle House again, and if I get the same waitress I will tip more.

If it matters to anyone at all, dark roast actually contains less caffeine than regular roast. If you don't care about the reduced caffeine, go nuts, you've found a good thing. If you actually need more caffeine, you're gonna need a regular coffee, or just drink more dark roast.

Do these things actually exist? I live in southeast PA where ever small town has at least 2 or 3 mom and pop diners that serve up some bangin' meals. I couldn't see a Denny's-tier chain being anything above shit quality. To each their own. You guys enjoy your commercialized diner experiences. I think I might hit the D-town diner tonight.
