For that delicious crunch

>> No.18955351

I was craving a bacon sandwich the other day but had no bread. I could've just made some bacon but I needed that carb element. Maybe make bacon spaghetti but no. I looked in the freezer and found some pathetic looking burger bun. Put it in the microwave for 40 seconds. It was pre sliced so easy to open up.

I fried 3 rashers of back bacon until they were really dark. This burger bun was tiny but I didn't care. I needed some fresh crunch so I sliced up a small stick of celery, ate some and put the rest on the bottom bun. After flipping the bacon I sprinkled over dried oregano and then laid 3 cloves of sliced garlic onto the rashers. I put the lid on the pan to allow the garlic to steam ontop of the bacon. All this was cooked in beef dripping.

I sliced the bacon so that I could stack all of it into the bun with zero over hang, added a few celery leaves and a tiny squirt of ketchup for sweetness and squashed down the top bun. It was a taste sensation. Well done bacon, fresh celery, strong garlic and that hint of tomato. Truly one of the best bacon sandwiches I've ever had.
