Where I go hiking, it's Bear Mountain in the Hudson valley, there's a ton of blueberry bushes. Also, you can go to Palisades Park on the Jersey side if you want to find a ton of Mulberry trees and dewberry bushes. You can identify the latter by the fact that they look like blackberries and grow on a low trailing shrub. I've gone hiking hungry and went home full, that's how many berries there are. Just make sure you inspect your berries closely so you don't eat any bugs. I have really good eyesight and a single bug has never gotten past me. As for animal piss, I don't really buy that there's any. If you can't taste or see it, then it's not there.

My experience too. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries are always fine but it only takes a quick glance at the raspberries too see they already have mold, on the shelf. Better to just get them frozen I guess.

birds? no they are eating them, and there are hardly any birds left

Those things rain grape colored berries every year. If I still had them, I'd make jams and stuff out of those. The saplings grow really fast.

The damn trees are so tall you can never reach the best berries on top. But i know a place in town there there's a bridge going over a creek and a mulberry tree grows down below, so the bridge actually holds you inside the middle of the treetop. Then you can get an armfull of berries. First time I ever did mushrooms I went here and ate the berries for like an hour

The fruit is only concerned with getting eaten so it spreads its seed. Its interest is to contain sugar and bright colors to attract you, so you eat it and spread the seeds around. The plant has no interest in making you healthy. Why would it waste valuable nutrients by pumping them into fruits that it intends to feed you?

Vegetables, on the other hand, do not want to be eaten by humans. A carrot is full of nutrients because it's where the plant actually stores its nutrients that it uses to live. It doesn't want to be eaten in the carrot.

Retarded take, healthier humans means more hosts to spread their seed. Its why fruit is full of clean water, minerals and enzymes. Fruit is by far the easiest to digest and healthiest food full of nutrients specifically designed for humans.

Your take is retarded because it's wrong. Fruit has basically the same ingredients as soda, except for tiny amounts of fiber, which it only has accidentally because it needs a structural component to hold the sugar in place. If trees could've invented gummy bears, they would've.

About a minute using the defrost option of the microwave or about two minutes using the container-water-lid-and-shake method, though that tends to break the raspberries up. Good for jam or adding to oats but not for something where the looks matter.
