>brother moved out and took my popcorn popper machine with him
Looking to buy a new one. What are the things I should look for in a popcorn popper machine /ck/?
Microwave cancercorn eaters, and stovetop vegetable-oil-corn troglodytes need not reply.

Just use a pot with a lid, you don't need a special machine to make popcorn. Bonus points for using clarified butter as your oil.

Your best best is to go around to some local thrift shops / goodwill etc and find an old Presto brand popper, the kind with the grungy yellowish plastic. These things are practically indestructable, and they only end up on sale when somebody's grandma dies. They dont make em like they used to.

Anything less than this is poorfag cope. If your popcorn popper does not have a 32 oz kernal capacity, caramelizer and chedderator it is totally useless. Might as well use a pot on the stove, pleb.

Get one of these
Get some flavacol. Use about half a teaspoon.
Half a cup of seeds.
1 tablespoon of oil. I personally use ghee or wagyu beef tallow.
I fucking love popcorn.

i know you said no microwave, but please, i urge you to reconsider.
-collapsible silicone popcorn popper with vented lid +/- 9 cup capacity
- medium white popcorn kernels
- extra virgin olive oil spray (main purpose to get seasons to stick, spray after popping)
this is an optimal solution from storage and calorie control standpoints.

The fact you’re buying other one suggests you used it somewhat. You payed for it, he wants one, why doesn’t HE just buy one. If you didn’t use it it’d be a different matter. You’re a push over

Just put 1/4 cup in a brown paper bag and microwave it until popping stops. Same as an air popper. Vid describes; plus, a young Hailee Steinfield makes a cameo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhyG17tJSas
