don't go overboard on spiciness if you aren't used to it. Hot spices do add taste, but if you aren't acclimated to them you will be too overwhelmed by the heat to feel it.

What's the point of getting used to seasoning that ruins the rest of the meal?
I'd like taste more than one dish, and dessert especially. As the sense of sweet is the first thing to disappear.
