KFC is far, far better quality in Europe, and it's the only American style fried chicken they have. I don't know what they're doing so differently, but it is. From what I know about both places, in muhrica you can get better sub or chicken on any other fucking corner. Any bodega have better sub than that green dumpster. About chicken quality I'm not sure, but what is sure about that there are a million and one alternative chicken serving brands for any price point, even Chinese takeout in my area have like half of its menu dedicated to "fried chicken".

It's probably been said to death but it's because of food laws, supply, logistics, etc basically making the US version completely different buisness with completely diffetent food quality. It's worth noting though that KFC has always been dogshit and is such peak shit garbage that the colonel himself was taken to court three times for libel for shit talking KFC, and then he won every case. He himself described the mashed potatoes as "wall paste", amoung other things. I don't like eating fast food in general but eating KFC feels like suicide, grocery markets almost always have better fried chicken and sides and are just as easy to find and usually cost less. Subway is just medicore and I feel stupid buying a sandwich I could make myself, or with minimal effort find a better local sandwich shop that had higher quality. Subway isn't really bad so much as it's so agressively unoffensive it just doesn't really taste or feel like anything worth buying.

KFC and McDonalds both did and excellent job with localization to new markets. Subway has had consistently cheap options.

But USA in general went from an obsession with fast food in fashion to a wide rejection of it with healthy eating snobbery, and then chains like those became associated with lower classes who often go to fast food for convenience (less free time for cooking or less education in cooking due to less attentive parents or parents who never cooked at home for similar reasons). In many other countries (like many parts of Asia), cooking at home became and old-school traditionalist way of doing things that became associated with the poor, and urban fast food became the hip stylish thing.

From what I recall in many parts of Europe, this didn't happen because there was a longstanding tradition of restaurants in general being associated with low quality food, and cooking at home being associated with good family and leisure. Now due to cross-culture influence and tourism restaurants have gotten better, and increasing urbanization means less kitchen space for young people, and smaller families means less incentive to cook, so there is likely more fast food in vogue in Europe now, but that's balanced against them adopting (or starting) many of the upper-class fashions (like health food) of North America

Some depression and anxiety meds can suppress sexual desire. Given how many zoomers are on them these days, it doesn't surprise me that the side effects of a medication to treat one of their many mental illnesses would result in the creation of a new sexual identity.

If you read the link posted, the whole schtick of claimed by asexuality advocates is that it's *not* an identity caused by outside factors like meds or social influence or a bad breakup or shit like that, but an inherent sexual identity.
