during the popeye's chicken sandwich release this was a very real possibility. i went inside my popeye's the second or third day it came out and waited 1.5 hours and certain customers couldnt wait patiently without acting up. best part was probably when your typical looking southern afro american woman showed up who ordered 27 sandwiches for her office and took a heaping bag with her. i know the amount because the manager was pleading with other customers demanding why it was taking so long and explained that each sandwich took a certain time to cook since they were all fresh due to demand

Same here. Unless i'm in a low income area or near a school, the dining rooms of fast food places even at meal times have fewer than 5 people in them while the drive thru is a mile long. The air conditioning is usually on full in the summer and the heat is rarely on in the winter for some reason but I can get 3-4 soda refills, 100 ounces of ketchup or 3 fistfulls of hot sauce and not have to keep asking for more at the window. Its annoying as shit when you order a pound of fries and they give you 3 ketchup packets.

I may be cursed but most of the time using the drive thru, particularly during covid, the order is missing something or just flat out wrong. Then they get all huffy when you point out the order is wrong and ask you to park somewhere and wait for it as if I'm the asshole for wanting my order correct. They hurry the fuck up and get it right when i'm at the counter fucking up the line for others.

taco bell does this on a daily basis. i've worked for an app that required me to place the order myself and check the bag afterwards, everytime something is missing from the damn bag. if I ever order drive thru fast food for myself I always count all the items in the bag before driving off. When they remodeled the inside they should've just demolished the dining room and and replaced it with outdoor dining like Rally's. There's no good reason, eating in your car gets bad smells and spills. Eating inside you have napkins and can get any extra condiments you know they forgot to put in the bag. Also I don't have to worry about extra trash to throw away or driving with food residue on my hands.

I haven't eaten at Taco Bell in years now. The orders were always so wrong or poorly shat together that it really did feel like I was insulting myself for even purchasing it. I know it might vary by location, but the service at the taco bells in my area are so bad that they are the prototype in your mind when you hear the word "goyslop" and I felt a little bit less deserving of life whenever I paid money for the shit I received in return. The only fast food I eat these days if at all is the occasional Chick-fil-A.

The bathroom closures in random stores is what really bothers me. I remember some bitch at the dollar tree said it was closed because they can't clean it after every customer uses it. I pressed her on the issue and she got mad and yelled at me. I called another dollar tree and they said restrooms aren't sposed to be locked there, and that she's bitter because her husband recently died. The next day those bathrooms were open again. The Wendy's near the university here got a fancy renovation and within the month the biggest window in the place was smashed. Not really the chairs don't support my weight and it's hard to get into the dining room through the tiny doors. Plus the workers give me angry looks when I place my order and all through my meal. I can't just sit down and have my 7 big macs, 2 double quarter pounders, 3 large fries, 40 piece chicken mcnuggets, Chocolate shake, and Diet Coke without getting the stink eye from the workers. I only order a modest meal and if they can't handle making that much food without causing the lines to back up they really should hire more people. They are more than happy to take my money but it always seems like they get pissy when i load down the trash with the wrappers and boxes afterward. I even hear them making comments when i finish and go into the restroom for my post meal bowel movement. I don't leave it a mess in there and have only clogged the toilet twice at any one location. So I would enjoy it more if the workers would just mind their own business and just get my food ready.
