Just make sure you use high strength foil, and that you've got it on a tray like in the video (even if it's just one of those disposable trays).

The only good critic is an unbiased critic. OP might as well have fed that omelette to a dog and would've gotten equally useful feedback.

She said the first batch was better and the second try was a bit overcooked
She didn't just say "oh it's good sweetie" I told her I wanted to actually learn

That looks tasty I'll think about it

Useless. I urge you to find someone else to cook for who would actually give you proper and constructive feedback. You should check Craigslist and look up professional food critics for home cooks. They would be happy to give you actual, proper, useful criticisms for a very reasonable fee. Make sure to check whether they are certified by the American Home Cooks Association though.

It was overcooked though, the first batch was delicious and I'm pretty hard to please

Or alternatively you can drop it off in one of those training centers and have it critiqued though I wouldn't recommend it. It's not easy to keep your dish warm enough on drop off and the fee to use their onsite kitchens are (usually) too high.
>You're joking right
No one said it was easy.
