We all know that tap water contains fluoride and who knows what else, so I was going to start buying bottled water (one can search for how much fluoride, if any, is added), but then comes the worry of it being in contact with plastic.
How can one even win in this situation?

Well water still has fluoride in it and I doubt the owner of the house I'm in would let me dig one in the garden.

water comes in PET bottles. it's pretty fucking inert.the same reason why PET doesn't break down in the environment, is why it isn't going to break down in you either.

You don't get it. Water itself contains fluoride, it's just that tap water contains more in most parts of the world because it's added.
>>18838511
What science? Everyone knows fluoride is toxic and calcifies the pineal gland. One is common sense and the other ancient knowledge.
>>18838523
So how does it work? How come plastic particles don't come off the bottle into the water when it's been stored for years?

>So how does it work? How come plastic particles don't come off the bottle into the water when it's been stored for years?
they will, for sure. store water in a bottle made of steel, and there will be iron particles in the water.
it's just that eating PET plastic doesn't matter. your body doesn't have the capacity to break it down into anything. it's a pretty stable molecule, even in the acid of your stomach. nothing living is very efficient at breaking it down.

Can you, right now, prove that it doesn't? Because it's a known fact that they started adding fluoride because they noticed that people living in places where it was more prevalent had less tooth decay.

Drank from the tap, wells and rivers. First harvested in rocks, then clay and leather, then ceramic, then steel, then glass. All of those come out more expensive than plastic either in terms of manufacturing or transportation.

>wells and rivers
Imagine walking to a river or a well everytime you wanted a drink. Nah, most of the time they drank small beer.

>All of those come out more expensive than plastic either in terms of manufacturing or transportation
Well, yeah, that was my point: they survived before plastic, so can you. If you want to avoid micro-plastics and fluoride, then glass bottled water is the easiest.

You can rent one of these along with a delivery subscription for a couple of bucks a month. It is a total game changer.
