The cookware in the picture was a basic set of ceramic coated cookware from the food network that was given to me as a house warming present. They worked fine for a couple of year but they did eventually start to get chips and scratches in the ceramic coat so I started to slowly replace them piece by piece with more “forever cookware” like Allclad, demeyere and le creuset. I still have a small 8” from that original ceramic set that works great for making fried eggs without any sticking. If you need something for the next few years you would be happy with that basic set though. I think it’s only $129 for a 10 piece set.

I've less counter space but I can still pull off not eating out and still have my days off where I just fuck around and experiment. I'd get rid of the weird rack thing and get something a bit more functional like some kind of prep table with storage room. Secondly, the chair could be ditched in favor of tall, skinny shelving. Those are just my own opinions though, anon. Maximizing a small cooking space is always a pain in the ass.

yep, people are afraid to make a decision with colour because it will show they have bad taste. So they make a bland choice instead. But they don't realise that its worse to have a bland choice, as it shows you have NO taste. You're yet to even consider developing a sense of style, you're a blank shapeless blob. Like a lobotomised drooling patient you sit in a minimalist, colourless, unoffensive, souless cell. Many such cases.

The pot, pan, and cast iron griddle is part of the enameled Staub cookware set. I wouldn't recommend buying any of it full price. I waited around for sales on William Sonoma and Overstock over a year or two and bought them individually when they went on sale. I got each one for less than $100 or close to it.

All three of them cook evenly and are nice looking, feeling, and easy to clean. I have a Chinese knockoff enameled dutch oven and it's stained and chipped and stuff seemed to stick to the bottom and burn frequently. I don't think the high quality stuff is a meme.
