I’ll admit it here in an anonymous fashion just to get this off my chest. I was bribed to delete the footage by an unknown contact from within the main factory area that produced the berries. I worked at that job for about 4 years since I met all the qualifications and it paid well, but the sum of money that guy offered me? If I had taken that, I could’ve had a crunch factory of my own. I couldn’t take the bribe though, as the Cap’n himself had heard of the plot beforehand from what I know, and I think he could’ve gotten suspicious of me had I taken the bribe and fulfilled that obligation. I didn’t want to have his goons hunt me down if I took it and dipped outta there, either, you feel me?

I remember the day of the incident. I was in the camera room as usual when all of the screens went red all of the sudden. A big buzzing noise emitted from them as well, with this interference lasting upwards of about 4 minutes. It only ended when a huge explosion was heard.

The security room was positioned to where it had its own emergency door, so every one of the workers started rushing out through that one after it had happened. I never got a good look at ground zero of the incident due to the sudden crowd that blocked me, but the cameras had returned to show absolutely nothing after the blast, and once we all evacuated, we were told nothing.

I was laid off a day later by the cap’n, reportedly for false sexual harassment claims that he framed me for. As such, I don’t know much more, but I hope this info was useful. If I don’t reply to anyone by later today, he’s already got me.

These kinds of jokes don't work if they are forced. Like they would have thought it was funny if you were in the kitchen at this party and there happened to be a box of "oops all berries" and you casually made the joke or if you went shopping with friends and saw the box or even just saw an ad for it. But walking up to strangers and just randomly bringing up an innocuous cereal for no reason and asking an out of context question as a joke just comes off as awkward. How you say something is sometimes more important than what you're saying. Just my two cents
