I like the guy. I eye roll when he gets a bit political, but he mostly keeps it to a minimum and I find his research interesting.

I like coarse salt to top my steak at the end too, but the cutting board thing is kind of dumb. First of all, nothing gets cooked the way he does it, the steak gets cold from chopping it then letting it rest again, and I think it also loses some moisture.

In general I think his research is actually good. His podcast on seed oils was good to listen to, it was reasonable while everything else is it's the cause of all obesity and death or it's completely fine it's just health chuds.

I think he offers some practical cooking advice, but also a lot of cringe. I watch his informative vids sometimes but there are much better cooking channels out there.
