It's over. Food is now a luxury. You will not even be able to eat the bugs.

Only in the new world. We get American and Canadian students here who are shocked by how cheap food in the UK is, even though I think food here is quite expensive compared to the rest of the world.

Yeah but I'd rather starve than get stabbed by a muslim Paki nigger

>> No.18771813

I just bought a bunch of groceries today. Prices weren't nearly as high as all that.

All processed garbage. You know you pay extra for those chemicals, right? Only scary thing is the turkey but even that is just breast. Get a turkey breast separately and cut it up on your own and tell me it's even close to the store price. There's a few ways to mince it up too, you don't actually need a grinder.

That's not accurate at all for the majority america and I live in an expensive part

This is clearly a nigger who doesn't understand math and prices.
The very first thing is ground turkey at $19.99 / 48oz which is an odd fucking measurement because you should just say $6.64 / lb which is cheaper than the cereal shown immediately after.
Niggers don't understand math or nutrient.

>> No.18771842

I was shocked when I saw 12 eggs going for $10.99.
It was a real WTF moment.
I've been eating oatmeal instead of cheerios because I can't afford cheerios anymore! (or at least, I can't afford them in my desired quantities)

I don't live in England so not my problem.

I live in bumfuck nowhere and my prices are much lower. That ground turkey is like 300%+ the price of ground turkey here.

We had it real good for a long time. But we kicked the can down the road on a huge number of problems. Now the bill is due and we are all going to zombieland forever

Maybe we can supplement our meat supplies by clearing out animal shelters of pitbulls. Sell it at 1$ a pound to become an affordable yet less desirable alternative to normal meats. It would increase the total supply and the competition could lower the price of chicken, beef etc. It would simultaneously solve the "crisis" of overcrowded animal shelters after covid, a simple problem that always had a simple solution that would only take like 5 minutes. Not a troll post I'm dead serious please don't ban me

What the fuck is going on in the US? Here eggs are 2€/10 and I live in a pretty expensive eurocountry.

>> No.18771951

1. Price is cheaper on the sticker, which is the right price.

2. Large Sized cereal.

3. Name brand eggs. You pay a premium for the brand and packaging.

4. Family Size Oreos

5. 8 pack of sweet maple griddle cakes. It's junk food, no one gives a fuck.

A bunch of flocks got destroyed over a bird flu scare. Prices went through the roof and they just never came back down because people were still willing to buy eggs at a previously outrageous price. Unless demand goes down or a surplus emerges, there's no reason to adjust the price.

When people said overpopulation in China and India leads to a greater competition for basic resources, Americans scoffed and did nothing.
>"But milk is only $2 a gallon now! Rent is only $800 now!"
They can't for see anything that isn't the present.
I've cut out restaurant food, luxury foods, and make bulk meals cut costs.

That's just not true. I was paying 70¢/dz for store brand in 2019 and now it's above $3.

Yes and a lot has happened since then, egg prices went up across the board. The eggs in OP video are name brand eggs.

And it's 18 eggs. Jack's Egg Farm is a wholesaler in NYC, though. Not exactly "name brand," but the fact that their office is in Brooklyn is a pretty clear indicator why the price is so high.

okay but then you're not getting rid of pound dogs you're turning them into livestock. if all you want to do is get rid of pound dogs you just kill them, maybe dump them in one of those co2 rooms they slaughter some pigs in. if you're going to start raising them as livestock you're better off just raising actual livestock.
