I'm making carbonara but I only have 2 eggs.

Can I substitute butter and/or olive oil? Normally I use 4 eggs.

How much pasta do you cook? I use 1 egg and an extra yolk for about 100-125 grams of pasta and it always turns out fine.

forgoe making the sauce in the pasta and just make a cheesy eggy bechamel instead. if it's too runny just throw it all in a casserole dish and bake it for a bit and add more cheese. it would be like a white ziti or something.
