Milanesa is a dish popular in Argentina, Uruguay, South of Brazil that's made by breading a meat (or chicken) cutlet in flour, egg and breadcrumbs and then deep frying it.

It's similar to the German schnitzel, if you know what that is.

Typically is served with mashed potatoes or french fries.

The Milanesa Napolitana is a regular milanesa that gets ham, cheese and oregano (sometimes tomato sauce) and baked, similar to chicken parm if you're American.
