place 2 pounds of butter in large glass container
microwave till melted (but not till it explodes).
pour in to steep sided bowl.
let cool to room temp
place in fridge overnight
remove from bowl
scrape and rinse off solids with water
pat dry
place in pan melt and let simmer till all water is gone
let cool and pour in to jar, keep on counter.
