It's nearly time lads.

Helped my mum make the stuffing. Lincolnshire Sausagemeat, stuffing mix with onion and sage, then chopped mushrooms and chestnuts.

We're cooking for 7 this year.

What are you lads prepping? I meant to ask.

Got the good stuff for supper too. We have Christmas dinner around 1pm, then about 9pm we have turkey and cranberry or beef and mustard sandwiches, cheese, pickled onions, crisps, pork pie, that kind of thing.

this already looks good. keep the thread updated as you go anon.

I'm spending Crimmace alone this year but I bought a very expensive ham which I'm going to roast with marmalade glaze and you bet your tits I'll make a thread to show it off

We got a Turkey crown rather than a full bird, then ended up getting another cheap today lel

Christmas dinner roughly consists of

Turkey
Sausagemeat stuffing
Regular stuffing
Pigs in blankets
Roast potatoes (all nice and crispy)
Roast parsnips with honey
Brussels sprouts
Peas
maybe a Yorkshire pudding, I don't think they belong but hey ho
Gravy
Cranberry sauce
Bread sauce

I'm probably missing something. Got some Serrano ham too

Got crates of cider, lager and Guinness

But for myself around dinner, I got some real ales, I try to buy from Yorkshire breweries, my home county

Funny the whole "craft beer" thing seems to have passed the more traditional breweries by.

I'm drinking an american single malt with a cider cask finish and it smells like a foot but tastes alright. I checked with my source and that's the intended profile. Some kind of lightly aged cheese, possibly runny with a thick rind, and a different kind of outdoors what were definite what ginny smell like, according to my whisky friend. Tastes great, you get the cider finish but goddamn do not ever let it touch ice.

Thanks anonfren, the other one was way better like you said.
