I cook my first real meal. Steak and vegetables. It tasted delicious even though it was all underdone and not seasoned correctly. I feel full and satiated. It was even kind of fun.

Is cooking based? Why does nobody tell you this?

Vegetables should be slightly underdone, underdone is preferable to overdone and mushy. Steamed not boiled.

Because most people are lazy fatoids who eat fast food on a daily basis and think placing something in a pan and standing in front of it for 10 minutes is hard. Cooking is definitely based and even cooking for yourself badly usually turns out better than fast food or frozen meals.
