We don't really know if it's uncomfortable for them or not. It's true that they do fatten themselves up naturally, and it's true that they don't have a gag reflex, but the amount they are fed is a lot more than they would in the wild, which is why there's no such thing as "natural" foie gras. What's also true is that when vegans try to anthropomorphize them and say "how you would you like a funnel stuck down your throat and being forced to eat corn until you were about to explode" they are being retarded. Either way, gavage is certainly not any more inhumane than most other farming practices, and foie gras is so fucking delicious I honestly wouldn't really care if it was.
