Bagels suck. They exist solely as a vehicle for bringing cream cheese to your mouth, and they can't even do that well. They have a limited surface area to spread cream cheese due to the fucking hole, and they are too much bread per bite compared to the amount of cream cheese you would reasonably put on it. Toasted bread is an infinitely better method of consuming cream cheese. Much more surface area, and a much better ratio of bread to cheese in each bite.
