everytime we eat at a restaurant, my dad informs them when ordering drinks that he only drinks IPA beers with a haughty tone that suggests the wait staff are expected to be surprised and compliment him on his excellent taste, rather than just saying "what IPA beers do you have"
he used to drink normal beers too, it's annoying and they taste bitter and terrible

I've been drinking Stella's, I do enjoy going to the local brewerys sometimes though. Other than that I'm a gin and tonic guy or cheap vodka if I just wanna get fucked up.

Most people just refer to it as "beer" these days, and yes, I drink beer. Not really a fan of macros and most lagers, but I do enjoy a wide variety of beer.

where i live in the pacific NW craft beer is just as cheap as budweiser or whatever. i personally think lager is shit, so no contest, but personal taste aside, the craft beers simply have more alcohol and are a better deal

I've switched almost exclusively to dry wines and straight whiskey.
