The ice cream is better than any kind you can get in the grocery store and is the main reason people go there. They have a peanut brittle in the grocery section that is amazing also. None of the hot food they serve is anything special. Get a chocolate almond or frozen yogurt on a waffle cone.

I like the food and ice cream. The burgers are okay, certainly better than the average fast food burger, but I really like the salads they rotate throughout the year. I remember one had chicken, bacon, and apples.
From what I remember the groceries are significantly more expensive, so I wouldn't do any shopping there.

oklahoma fag here, their burgers are really damn decent, especially for the price. I always get the big ass bacon cheeseburger, the no. 3 or whatever the fuck. Also their icecream is extremely cheap and very excellent for what they're charging. get some fries and dip them in a chocolate shake. They also have a little general store inside most of them and their milk is amazing, very clean and rich tasting. Avoid locations staffed by non whites, like the one off of classen near downtown. Go to a newer one in Moore or somewhere "nice" like that in okc. Stay away from southside okc for the most part, and if you don't know where southside is, just take a look around and if you see a lot of bilingual spanish/english signs or just straight up spanish signs, go somewhere else. Head north or south for 10 minutes and you'll probably be fine

Their milk tastes weird. Whatever dough they're using in their burger bun bread tastes doughy. But the last time I went there it was one by my parents house, which is basically in the ghetto. I think Braum's is better depending on the neighborhood. If it's a shit neighborhood, don't go.

I think probably the best thing they sell is their sundaes, malts, cones, shakes, etc.. The ice cream is okay I guess.

What area? I went to the Taco Bueno off 12th and Santa Fe in Moore a week ago or so and the person at the window was a literal furry, like had the dysgenic look and was wearing a hoodie that had a furry anthro art fursona/whatever the fuck they call it character on the back of it and the hoodie was stained. That alone was enough to make me never go there again, but the food was also awful, which is a shame because it used to be the best when I was a kid.

It used to be the best. About 6 years ago they fucked up their burgers, made them a third of the size while raising the price. They had to get new buns to fit the smaller patties and they are tough and everything doesn't fit as well it's all mashed into a small area when before the burger ingredients had room to breathe. They went from an 8/10 to a 6/10. Still better than your chain fast food joints but the magic is gone. Also the worst, slowest service and the dirtiest restaurants I've ever been in. The whole store has a sticky film of grease. Makes sense when I worked for them we were lucky to filter the friars every other week. Still great ice cream though.

OP here. Went today. The burger was a 4/10. It was poorly slapped together and had barely melted cheese on top. The fries were just okay. The milkshakes was probably the best thing. I got the coffee flavored one and I just saved the rest for later because it was too much to drink. Too thick for a straw. I got two gallons of milk for a 3 for $6 sale, which is still shit coming from the Midwest where milk is never expensive. Meat is cheap, but dairy and egg prices are bullshit. They are asking $5.75 for a dozen eggs, and I've see milk as high as $6 per gallon in some stores. Anyway, the milk from braums is good quality. I spent my whole meal wishing I went to whataburger across the street and just got the milk afterwards.
