Good thing I'm no longer in the womb because if I lost a half inch, there'd be nothing left.

Also, absolutely mind blowing that people were spraying scotchgard, straight up PFOS, everywhere.

I’ve been intermittent fasting and only eating from 11 am to 7 pm but haven’t seen much result. Should I switch it around so I’m eating a large breakfast and nothing in the evening? Like eat from 8 am to 3 pm? Problem is, I have a family with young kids and we should be eating dinner together.

Or just toss that intermittent fasting crap altogether and just cut out snacks especially in the evening?

I buy a good brand that has low sodium and 50% less fat.

If you don't eat fast food or pre packaged food all the time even a small amount of sodium and fat can go a long way. I can't even stomach a fast food sandwich, just tastes like salt.

intermittent fasting isn't a substitute for a healthy diet but it's healthy in its own right; it's a form of eustress just like exercise and it slows aging. if you don't want to limit your meals to 8 hours you could try 10 hours instead, that's still pretty good.

Just had breakfast. Brunch? I guess that's more accurate considering I had it after meeting.
Made red bean paste from scratch with coconut oil and vanilla sugar (also homemade) and had it on toast with a cappuccino i also made.
Do y'all like red bean paste?

>> No.18712734

>Do y'all like red bean paste?
it's so good. I need to try making it myself

>> No.18712859

>>18712734
It's a little time consuming but it's super easy. Just cook the beans and use a rice paddle to mash them against a sieve, collecting the skin free paste that passes through. I eat the skins after anyway because I'm cheap. Anyway, after you mashed and skinned them, just put them in a saucepan with some water, sugar, a pinch of salt and some solid-at-room-temperature fat. Lard it's traditional but hard to come by in flavourless high quality so I use coconut oil but some people prefer butter, ghee or palm oil. Add some sugar (I use 30g per 150g of unmashed beans; also, 15g of fat per) and a pinch of salt and cook, stirring often until thick.

Less the sugar, this is the same process as refried beans, moreorless.

Kaya is more of a PITA to make, but that's also worth it.
