Does anyone have any experience with these japanese table grills?

>> No.18711616

Yeah, I railed your mother over one while it was out the other night

>> No.18711642

Used one in Kyoto, it's neat and good if you're alone. But I wouldn't buy one at home to use.

Yeah, it didn't turn me into japanese, I'm still a chudcel cumskin.

Also, just get a electric grill for the table.

I got this one. Works well. Don't use it inside even with "smokeless" binchotan

Doesn't work very well with regular briquette charcoal

You really need that fucking jap bone charcoal to work and it costs you an arm and a leg to get it

I use thaan charcoal. Costs a bit less. Takes a fucking long ass time to completely light though. I'd imagine the real deal binchotan charcoal might be hotter, but the thaan stuff works well enough

>briquette
pretty sure you can't even use briquettes because it destroys the ceramic but normal charcoal is fine, just not inside. the main difference is that binchotan lasts forever and is low smoke but you don't really need that unless you're a japanese restaurant

fuck, and I'm a webber boy. tl;dr, a hotter grill you can put on a table top for skewers that cooks them as fast as need be. A webber is good for larger, less communal meals. No one will take my smokey mountian from me unless I'm dead.
