I get ya. There was a time in my youth where we would all eat a TV dinner, us kids even got a TV tray, and watch bad broadcast TV as a family. That shit is comfort food. And it's the kind of shit most of us where probably brought up on anyway, just cause you don't want to eat anything else as a kid. Tendies, sweetcorn, and mashed taters with tone of butter and milk.

Banquet used to sell a decent fried chicken one. A long time ago it might have a breast or a wing, but usually a thigh and a leg. Then around 2012 they stopped including breasts or wings at all, always a thigh or leg. Now I can't even find that.
They were extra greasy, used 2-3 paper towels while microwaving it to sop up the chicken grease. The skin being the best part, pulling it off the chicken and saving it for last.
Don't forget to mix the mashed potatoes and corn, elevating both.

My dad left me alone for a week in middle school with a full freezer of these. I came home, watched the new episode of G Gundam and ate one of these. That's all I remember from those times.
